ما هو جير الاسنان ؟ 

حتى لو كنت تعتني بأسنانك في المنزل، لا يزال لديك البكتيريا في فمك، حيث تخلط البروتينات ببقايا الطعام، لتشكل بلاك الاسنان، والبلاك يحتوي على البكتيريا التي يمكن أن تضر بمينا الأسنان، وتؤدي إلى تسوس الأسنان، ولكن إذا قمت بإزالة البلاك بانتظام، يمكنك منع تسوس الأسنان وأمراض اللثة. ومع ذلك، تنشأ مشاكل أكبر إذا استمر بلاك الأسنان وتراكم على أسنانك، فهو سيتصلب ويتحول إلى الجير، حيث يتشكل الجير على خط اللثة، ويمكن أن يؤدي إلى مشاكل عديدة منها انحسار اللثة وأمراض اللثة، ويجب تنظيف الاسنان من الجير بالأدوات خاصة في عيادة طبيب الأسنان.
